Michele will begin her 2008 season racing campaign in the STAR MAZDA SERIES with the first race at Sebring Florida on March 14th which will be a support race for the famous 12-hour of Sebring event. Michele will be racing for JOHN WALKO RACING team and testing starts Monday March 10th all week until race time. Due to the recent merger of the Champ Car and Indy Racing League, STAR MAZDA seemed the most likely formula series for Michele to race and most of the mid-level formula series such as STAR MAZDA have been affected with scheduling because of the cancellation of most Champ Car events at certain venues. This affects as to when the next race will be for Michele, hopefully in May at Utah, but right now Michele is very excited about her first race in Sebring to get on with her racing career; and intent on doing well in her first racing event for 2008 looking forward to competing within the MAZDA SPEED system for her driver development.
